Hi all,

I am visiting from the UK next month and I am looking at buying a US sim as I have a dual SIM redmi note 10 Pro. I've tried to find out in forums and web pages all over the place to find out if my phone would be compatible on T-Mobile (as it seems the one that would be most likely to work due to having 5 bands that are compatible and reading that Verizon etc doesn't work full stop). Does anyone have a definitive answer to this?

My guess is it can't be activated on Tmobile because it hasn't been approved by Tmobile for VoLte.

You can use this link to check.

I've already done this on the Website

@syaoran may have a better idea on this phone than me.

Most Chinese phones don't bother getting their VoLte registered with Tmobile and Tmobile won't active a phone if it doesn't have it.

The system when entering the IMEI just checks for compatible.bands.  Most Asian devices are not VoLTE compatible with US carriers.  Some global Xiaomi firmwares were back in the days of the MI Mix series devices.  Not so much anymore.  A device must be VoLTE compatible with T-Mobile to be usable on the T-Mobile USA now.
