I’m travelling to New York in a few weeks and I have a Xiaomi Redmi 10. Is there any prepaid SIM compatible with my phone?

Do you have the India model or the International model? If you have the India model, there are no compatible bands for service. If you have the International model, then bands 2 and 4 might get you some very spotty service. Ideally, you would want a device that supports bands 2, 4, 12, 66, and 71.

That link doesn't specify which version you have. Does it tell you in the About Phone section of the settings?

If the MIUI version is global, you might have sptty coverage on bands 2 and 4. In densely populated areas, bands 12 and 71 are usually deployed to offer the best coverage.
That’s great news! The bad thing is that here in Spain nobody seems to have a card for my phone. I guess I’ll have to get it once I arrive at NY.

Most major airports have a store in the airport or close by. Amazon.com might be able to ship one to you if you would rather have it before you depart Spain.
