Anyone know the secret to get the T-mobile AAA Year on Us” promotion (one year AAA membership free) to work?   I have Magenta 55+, so appear to be eligible for the offer.  I used the link provided https://promotions.t-mobile.com/thanks but clicking on it simply generated for me an error message “code invalid” (see below).  A call to the T-mobile number provided took me to their call center (Philippines) but the nice person there had no clue how to fix the problem, beyond texting me a link that when clicked generated the same error message. Frustrating!

I read that as well, and told this to the AAA agent, who repeated her answer, that it was only for ‘new members who have never had AAA before’

I figured I would call back at another time, and try again, with a different agent

https://www.t-mobile.com/benefits/aaa-membership-deal - says it will work if already a member, “What If I’m already a member”?  No problem. You’re eligible for this offer too and we’ll cover your next Basic or Classic renewal payment. This offer covers the primary household member if you remain on an eligible T-Mobile rate plan at the time of the AAA membership renewal. If you are a Plus or Premier AAA member, the Basic or Classic portion of your membership will be covered, and you’ll just pay the difference.” - I will try this in a few months, when my AAA is expiring.

I’ve had some similar issues as well.  I attempted to sign up, but the webpage said I already had a membership, and to log in, with that.  I tried…..no membership found.  I went back, and re-entered all my information.  ‘Member information already exists’, so I attempted to re-set the password.  No membership found.  (I HAD a membership over a year ago, that expired, when I relocated to a different state, but now, it cannot be found, or used.) I called AAA customer service, and was told this offer only applies to ‘brand new members who have never have been a AAA member before’, (even though the T-Mobile offer clearly shows available for new and existing AAA members…)  😬

I tried months ago and got error messages about a technical error after filling everything out. I called customer service, and all they said was that they would reissue a new code. The new code didn’t work. I tried again today hoping it would be resolved. It still doesn’t work……

Have you tried using it in the T-Life app?

You’re gonna want to “reduce other privacy protections” to get it to load. Hit the AA to bring up this drop box.

^^This is only applicable if you use “Private” browsing on an iPhone but I opened Safari, switched to private browsing and tried your suggestion. I got several screens that weren’t there before like asking me to set account recovery questions/answers if I get locked out of my Tmo account and an option to “check submission”. It was on a page I hadn’t seen mentioned with this topic previously: https://promotions.t-mobile.com/rebates

i had to go through a dozen hoops in 2023 to get this promo applied by calling Customer Service then but my submission does show up there as valid through 8/2024 and I noticed even back then in 2023 that I couldn’t apply it to my current (expired) AAA Membership account, I had to open a new account with AAA in order for them to apply the promotion manually. Perhaps that has something to do with the issues that are still ongoing now? The terms say one year free for new members. Just adding this in case it helps someone else who is still struggling with this redemption process.

Doesn’t work for me

Still doesnt work

Hi So for those who are struggling with this, let me start by saying it’s completely misleading by TMobile. I was struggling for over a month a half trying to get this “offer” redeemed. Every time I put my membership details in, I would then be prompted to pay the $57 for my classic membership for Triple A. I called TMobile, Triple A and no one helped me and just kept telling me to go back and forth. I was told by a rep when you redeem this offer you won’t pay and shouldn’t be asked your card info, but I kept being asked for my card info on the Triple A Tmobile link. My membership is due March 15th 2024 and after so much frustration I just paid for it through the link provided for this Triple A offer. Well, turns out I will get the “One Year on Us” through TMobile but on my next renewal for my membership that’s not until 03/15/2025 lmao.

After paying for my membership I was told I’d receive an email confirmation for the next year on them only to not receive anything.

I am also trying to redeem my AAA membership free for one year, and I also keep getting the same error message. I tried to call but I was told my wait time was going to be an hour, so I hung up. I don’t understand why they cannot fix the issue, with so many have the same thing happening. I would like to renew my AAA without any issues.

This still doesn't work, and Tmobile is doing NOTHING to fix it. This is the first promo I tried to take advantage of since being forced from Sprint to T-Mobile, and they have proven not to be better at all. I called and sat on the phone with a rep for at least 30 minutes; they sent me a text, and it still DIDN'T WORK. 🙃 shameful.

The problem is not the code but when you get to AAA website and try to apply the promo code after you’ve entered your details to join the Basic member, it will spin , and spin and waii for ever and won’t go anywhere. Either the code provided by T-mobile is bad or AAA web site just won’t accept this kind of redemption.

Agree it is impossible to get to any sign that does not basically sign you out

Oh my gosh, I am so frustrated. This exact same thing is happening to me. If I was able to actually get good customer service Maybe it wouldn't be happening. But we have a flood warning right now Outside my house and I can't get the Get any of the customer service agents on either the aaa number or the T-Mobile numbers to even comprehend that i never got the aaa. The aaa help line is telling me to call t mobile. T mobile line is telling me to call aaa. And yes, the lady from the Philippines kept me on the phone 2 hours. Trying to pretend like she solved my issue by straight up telling me to just smile. It was so annoying. I knew it wouldnt help but I walked into the T-Mobile store, they literally ignored me and I asked them 7 or 8 times and kept standing in line. And they just stared at me and said I'm sorry.  And we can't help you.

me too.  The same issue.

I have the same issue, i get the

Invalid Coupon

We're sorry. This coupon code has already been redeemed. If you need further assistance, please write down the coupon code 6 L S M 6 7 T 16LSM-67T1 and call T-Mobile at 1-800-937-8997

Thanks much.  Just for full transparency and if any others have had the problem, here is the full sequence I am going thru:    I go to  https://promotions.t-mobile.com/aaa and get the following screen.

When I then click on “Continue”, it takes me to the log in page for T mobile

After I log in with one of our phone numbers (I’ve tried both that are on our account) and password, I land on this page https://promotions.t-mobile.com/thanks

When I click on “Redeem Now” , it’s then that I land on the page below:

Thanks for the suggestion that I reach out on social media.

Hey there @txcamd I am curious where exactly in the process that it is messing up. I hadn’t taken advantage of the AAA offer yet so I went to https://promotions.t-mobile.com/aaa and selected continue. It asked for my name and phone number and then sent me to a screen like the one you shared but it has a code similar to the one that Tomwil showed in his screenshot. Then it asked if I was a current AAA member or not. From your screenshot, it looks like it misdirected the first time it sent you through and added all of the extra text where it should have showed you just the coupon code. Can you try going back to https://promotions.t-mobile.com/aaa and putting in your name and another number from your account to start over?

If it is still giving you the same code that is not working, you can reach out to our Customer Support teams by calling or messaging us on Facebook or Twitter and they can help you with the code itself.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.  Yes, had tried that clicking thru from https://promotions.t-mobile.com/aaa , but it leads to the same result for me:  the same error message.

When I type in the URL ( https://partnertoken.aaa.com/tmobile/?couponCode=41PR-76R6 ), I get a slightly different message saying the code has already been redeemed.  Have you used this promotion before?  It is only good one time for a year.

Maybe try from the actual AAA promotion page itself?
