Problem with that option is as far as I know a computer/Pi or other has to run all the time in order for the VPN to have something run it. We are not at the property all the time and do not want to add another device that can fail or not work in to the equation.
I also check the needed 4021 on both properties and it is shown closed… Any idea on how to get it open.. Tmobile tech is like talking to a rock ….. they have no idea what I am asking
I have the same issue using I have a module that controls and monitors my home alarms. I have 2 gateways at 2 properties that worked fine for 3 months.. last week both of them are no longer talking to the server from the monitor. Talked to the module company and gotThe Envisalink uses UDP port 4021 forcommunication so the router is blocking that port, possibly over UDPonly. This may be in effort to block VPN usage or possible Bittorrentservices as both use UDP on non-standard ports. Ran some software to check if the port is open at the server and NOPE… Tmobile needs to get it together or im out…
I currently have the same problem but with a alarm module that uses UDP port 4021.. I have 2 properties that I can no longer monitor the property… This is a deal breaker for me if they cannot figure out a solution. Evey thing else works great. But no alarm cant tell if property is safe.. Bye tmobile
I agree the user portal is a joke
