Trying to access devices connected to my router but everytime I try it gives me an error saying, "uh-oh the app lost connection with your gateway. We'll need to get you reconnected." This has been going on for weeks. I've reset, turned off and on several times, and tried everything.

Sounds like you are trying to use the mobile application. It works for some people. Use the browser interface from a PC or laptop or tablet for an improved connection. The mobile application is supposed to report the devices connected but it seems to have issues at times reporting even one device. If you figure it out please post the resolution. I think it would be a new application or a fix for the current one.
