I installed T mobile wireless home internet and now my phone goes stright to voice mail or loses connection and I have to turn airplane on and off to get it back. Works fine on att internet.
Do you have wifi calling turned on in your phone settings?

I have the T-Mobile/Nokia gateway and I do have WIFI calling enabled and also calls go to my iPad Pro and MacBook Pro and seems to work just fine and not just go to voice mail. My iPhone 12 Pro is on 16.1.2 iOS so I don’t know unless there is another setting vs wifi calling that might be related. You could disable wifi calling and that should prevent it. Settings>Cellular>WIFI Calling
Maybe it has something to do with the specific gateway?
