Netflix problem with latency causing long buffering time

Netflix has become unusable with our T-Mobile home internet.  I have traced the problem to unusually high latency to the Netflix server.  Pinging netflix.com shows that we are losing packets.  The attached picture shows the latency of Netflix compared to HBO.   Any internet experts with ideas?

I get the ping time-out for Netflix.Com as well for some reason, but I can watch Netflix with no issue, so I think the ping issue is something else.
