Back in June I got a replacement for one of my lines. I had the new phone activated and returned my old device in the provided packaging. A few days ago I receive a text that my bill is posted and it's 900$!!! Turns out I have a charge for over $600 for a non returned device fee. When I call assurant they tell me the device I returned is not the device they were expecting. They told me that the IMEI number is one digit off!! This has to be some sort of clerical error whenever I call tmobile they connect me to assurant and they are of no help at all.. can anyone offer any advice as to how I can get this charge removed this is so unfair.. I am thinking of contacting a lawyer I would rather my pay my hard earned money to a lawyer than pay for something that I returned..
