How can I verify if my auto pay will be taken out from the savings account and not from the checking account?

Auto Pay will deduct from whatever account number and routing number you set. It does not differentiate between savings or checking.

So how can I specify the auto pay to be taken from the savings account as there is where I usually have balance? In the checking account I don’t usually have a balance.

I have the same account # for both savings and checking accounts.

You will need to ask your bank on how it differentiates withdraw from a checking or savings account that has the same number.

IIRC if the account number is the same for both they will pull money from which ever has funds available. how is it your account number is the same for both accounts if i might ask?

Thanks for replying. Yes, some banks have one account number with the savings and checking accounts under that same number. You decide where you want your money to go to. Some banks even give you a 3rd account which you can create a name for it, and you manage the use as well.
