Occasionally, I need to send a fax. I have a MFP, but I don’t have a landline which is required to enable fax. On my iphone, I can access files on my computer. Does T-Mobile support fax over cell? How would I enable it?

Good question. FAX and dial-up data are part of the GSM standard. Many years ago, my phone had 3 numbers: voice, data and FAX. T-Mobile discontinued having separate lines for incoming data and FAX but I think the still allowed you to dial-out data and FAX. It’s been many years since I even looked into the question.

Last time I needed to send a mobile FAX I just used a free (Freemium)  service called FaxPlus. They allow sending up to 10 pages for free. If you want to receive FAX or send longer FAXs you have to pay. There may be other services that are similar. .
