Email to SMS texing failing

We send text using email thru SendGrid. Most of the emails are bounced back after many deferrals to SendGrid when trying to be delivered to tmomail.net with the following bounce backback errors:

421 tmo-ibgw-5002a.ext.cloudfilter.net cmsmtp 149.72.130.204 blocked AUP#CNCT

452 4.1.0 <bounces+14645690-9958-+17072081891=tmomail.net@prod.ehi.com> server temporarily unavailable AUP#MXRT

421 tmo-ibgw-5003a.ext.cloudfilter.net cmsmtp too many sessions from 149.72.130.204 AUP#CNCT

Is there something I need to tell T-Mobile or have Cloudfilter.net fix? We really don’t see this issue when sending emails to other carriers such as Verizon.

Hey there. Message aggregation services like SendGrid should have all their ducks in a row to prevent your messages from being flagged as spam and blocked. That is mainly true for messages being sent through regular sms or email channels like sending to a phone number OR @emaildomain.com. There is an added layer for Tmomail.net that could be causing your messages to still fail. The email to text service is a VERY low volume service that is only designed for person-to-person messages. ANY business-related or high-volume messages can be blocked on that platform. You should be encouraging your users to provide a true email address or phone number instead of their tmomail.net to ensure message delivery.
