JOD Upgrade and website processing versus having to call in

We upgrade to the new iPhones every September and we always have to call in, versus being able to process this online. I don’t know the reason but it seems because there is a balance due, so the trade-in credit can’t be applied. My question is can/should I pay that balance prior to the online ordering and would that give me the ability to avoid the call it?

Whether you call in or do the upgrade online.  There will be a fee associated with the upgrade.  Personally, I would rather take care of those upgrades through the T-Force Team, which can be contacted through DM'ing T-Mobile on Facebook or Twitter.
