I'd like to remove a line, please.

He no longer lives with me and has a different phone and phone plan altogether. His phone is paid off, he's simply paying for it to just be active/leasing it, but isn't even using it anymore, therefore I'd like it to be deactivated/removed altogether please.

You need to call Tmobile support to cancel a line.

plus if the phone he had was still being leased or he finished the lease but was still making monthly payments on it it’ll need to be returned to TMO. same as if leasing a car..you can go over the time frame that you were originally going to keep said car...but you can either return it, pay the final cost for it after the lease is finished or continue paying monthly to lease it past the final date like youre renting it.
