They say I need to set up “T-mobile ID”, then when I try to they say I already have one, but I have no idea what it is, where to find it, or what it’s for.
How is it different from login with email or phone nbr and password? Is it something i can look up somewhere on my account? Why would I need it or want it?

Check under profile in your MyTmobile account.
So “T-Mobile ID” is just their brand name for logon? All that shows under “T-Mobile ID” under Profile is email, password, and phone - there’s nothing to it other than that?
