Transferred number will not activate

I have been waiting for 4 days now for my transferred phone number to activate on my new T-Mobile phone. The people at the T-Mobile store have been very nice, but do not seem to be able to figure this out (only saying that eventually things will begin to “ping” through). This is a number I have had for over 20 years, and it is important that I keep it and have access to it. The temporary number that they have loaded on my old phone does help, but I am missing an awful lot and it is starting to impact my business. Who can I contact to get this resolved ASAP.
