Error page when trying to activate Watch 5 Pro from S22 phone

Hi!  I am trying to activate my new Galaxy Watch 5 phone this morning, replacing the Watch4.  Paired with my S22 Ultra phone.  I get to the point about setting up a mobile plan from the phone. I click on “sign up for mobile plan”… I then get “Webpage not available.  The webpage at https://acms.msg.t-mobile.com/acms-entry-points/gll/activate could not be loaded because: net:ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED”.

 

I reset the watch and tried again. Same problem.

 

Anyone else having problems activating?

Note that doing a software update for the watch did not resolve the problem. :(

Looked up error code and tried going to the site directly - looks like the activation site may be down. Will  retry activation tomorrow.

Still happened today. :( The box states it is a LTE model watch, so that can’t be an issue…?

Is the watch connected to your phone via Bluetooth?

Yes. I had completed the initial pairing and setup; the final phase of the setup was to set up the LTE plan. It was a breeze when going from the 3 to 4, so am surprised why all of this is happening now.
