S21 Ultra - Bricked with July 2023 update

July 15, 2023 the phone tried a couple of times to update the UI software. Each time the cycle got to the magenta T-Mobile splash screen and then when blank and inoperable. The phone is one--I can see it bluetooth linked to my car, pressing the power button numerous times in quick succession sounds the alarm, etc. but it will not accept screen inputs or show anything on the screen.
