I want to keep my Samsung Galaxy S8 Active beyond 7/1/22. Is my only option returning to ATT since they list it as supported after 3G retirement?
I am in same boat, except I bought a used unlocked ATT S8 active.
It is understanding that all S8 and newer versions of for the US market have the same hardware and the only difference is the carrier firmware. A friend of mine has the t-mobile S8 active and it will work after July.
So updating with the TMobile firmware should make it work. After I find the correct version I & and have flashed at unreal wefix or do it myself I will let you know.
