I’m considering buying a Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F or -FD) to try out the /e/ OS. My current S7 (the unlocked US version, 930U) is about perfect for my needs, but the US versions have locked bootloaders that make it impossible to install /e/. The 930FD is the closest model that has an unlocked bootloader and a /e/ version available, but it doesn’t cover bands B71 and B66. So my question is, how big a handicap would those two missing bands be? A complete list of bands is here, if that helps: 930FD specs
The F version is missing a few bands that the FD has: LTE 300/75, 450/100, and 600/50. The FD doesn’t have B42, which the F has. Would any of those make a difference in deciding which model to get?
Thanks!
