Hi. I need a hot spot. My Basic plan was not strong enough. I called Tmobile support and the tech person advised me to upgrade to Magenta plan. I did and now I’m trying to work and the problem has not changed at all. Speed check shows with Magenta in-phone hot spot is only getting download speed of 4.08 mbps and upload speed of .069 mbps. I’m in a coffee shop in the middle of Los Angeles for goodness sake.
So, was the advise I got from support incorrect? CAN upgrading my phone plan actually beef up my in-phone hot spot? Do I need to buy a pocket wifi, would that get any better results?
I am doing cloud based video editing for hours AND need to upload 15 minutes videos once a day. Can anyone please advise?
