3 weeks ago, I called customer service to see if I could add an apple watch to my Metro by T-Mobile plan. I was assured that all I had to do was call with the IMEI number and I’d be able to add it. Fast forward to today when I tried to add my newly purchased apple watch and I was told that the network had not been updated to support apple watch. The customer service agent must have heard my jaw drop because he reassured me that this would happen soon (I have no reason to believe this is true since the last customer service agent gave me false information). So can anyone tell me if Metro by T-Mobile actually supports apple watch? And if not, are there any plans for Metro by T-Mobile to support apple watch?
I purchased an Iphone SE for my son around 5 months ago. About a month ago it became defective and the battery appeared to begin bulging, the front screen became disconnected from the back part of the phone and will no longer turn on. I contacted T-mobile support and asked what I should do, they said it is under Apple Care and to contact them, so that is what I doI contact Apple, after a long conversation and them requesting pictures of the damage they tell me I need to deactivate FindMy on the phone. I go to the site they pointed me towards and removed the phone in question from FindMy. They cannot verify this, they have me share my screen and show the phone is not there anymore but still are unable to verify it on their side. They escalate me to senior support, who also cannot verify that the phone is removed so they have me fill out a form to remove an Activation lock. This requires a receipt of purchase for the phone. I then contact T-Mobile and wait an hour to get the receipt, whi
I wanted to delete a watch line that I have on my account. It costs 10 bucks and it really does not do anything. I have tried to use my watch when my phone is out of range and messages do not go through. So i feel it is a waste of money. How do I delete or cancel these lines? Do I have to call or is there another way to do this without having to call?
The utter and abject failure of my encounter with T- Mobile support of the Cellular option provided by Apple Watches.
The utter and abject failure of my encounter with T- Mobile support of the Cellular option provided by Apple Watches. Original problem: Lost the ability, that originally worked, to make or receive cellular VOICE calls when out of range of cell phone, or when cell phone was turned off….. EVEN THOUGH I was still on the T-Mobile LTE network and had the use of text and GPS. After working with T-Mobile tech, I lost the ability to add a cellular plan to watch (getting Error code 406.) The watch works as normal, when able to go thru the cellular phone. But without being able to use the phone as a conduit, the calls always fail. I recently ported an AT&T cell phone number to Sprint T-Mobile (I’m a legacy Sprint customer). However, the phone cannot receive calls. It is an iPhone XR. When calling the number, the message states that the phone number is not in service. Everything else works - outgoing calls can be made and the number/phone receives and sends texts, FaceTime works for both incoming and outgoing. We have been to the T-Mobile store and they have been on the phone with the help line. In addition, we have called the help line three times. No one can figure out the problem to be able to fix it. All of the phone’s settings are set to allow incoming calls, i.e. DND for voice is turned off. Any suggestions from anyone?
I got an e sim activated on my iPhone 13 Pro. But I’m unable to send or receive any text messages on my e sim number. If anybody has gone through a similar situation please help. It’s been less than 24 hours since my e sim got activated if I’m not wrong all the services should be up and running immediately after activation.
A couple of friends just switched to T-Mobile. They ended up getting two new phones and a good plan for seniors. As existing customers, there doesn’t seem to be any special offers that can help us at least upgrade our iPhones. Verizon is offering us two new phones to switch. I prefer not to, but why would we not switch since their plans are similar and we would upgrade to new iPhones? And we all know some folks get phones for free…Seems illogical to lose us as customers. Does this make sense?
I used the trade-in offer for my Iphone X 64GB for the IPhone 12 Pro Max in retail, which the product was mailed to me a week after. The same day that I received the new phone, I had dropped the trade-in phone (IPhone X) to USPS. On December 2, my tracking depicted that it had arrived at the warehouse.A week later I never got the rebate I was told I would receive and I decided to call them. They said there would be an investigation in which 5 days later (December 10) I received an email that they did not have any information that they received the trade-in. I clearly did return it, so what am I supposed to do now. I am still receiving messages that I have to return the phone despite messaging the team multiple times. All their responses were to wait. This is making me go insane.
