I have an I pad and I can not sign on to the T Mobil wifi- if I go to other places (my daughters- hotel) I can sign on fine so it’s not the I pad. How do I fix my internet to accommodate?

do you have to add a passcode or anything to sign on? shouldnt be any difference on which wifi connection you connect to unless there are restrictions or its password protected and youre not putting in the right info?
