Replace eSim on new iPhone from Australia

I am in Australia and have a new iPhone.  AZs a result my eSim now no longer works on the new phone.  I’ve looked on the website and it seems to be that I have to call the US and get a code to go through the process of getting the eSim on my new phone.  Is this the only way it can be done?  I can’t get into the website as it wants to send a text message to my US number and won’t allow an Aussie number.

You can try reaching out to T-Mobile via DM on either Facebook or Twitter.  Receiving the code via text still might be needed though.
