tickets closed but not fixed

I can send calls but all callers not in my contacts either go straight to voicemail or are dropped. Three tickets have been opened but are then closed despite the problem persisting. Support keeps wasting my time doing all of the same settings checks and then eventually opens a ticket. I think they close them because it appears that their calls go through. Two, one of which was named Dave, swore they’d work on it and call my wife’s phone to help me after doing so for a day. I’ve tried everything. I’d like to drop T mobile but they are the only signal where I live. I’d be willing to change numbers and swap out SIMs.  Tired of spending hours a week repeating this same ineffective process every week. Suggestions?
