What do you like better the 5th generation or the 9th generation

Of the IPad I have both of them and I honestly can’t tell any difference.  Like on the IPhone 8 from the 6 you could see a difference then when you moved up in my case I went to the 10xr man it was like night and day.  Now I have the 12 mini not a huge difference but I don’t have to have a water resistance case anymore because really there is no such thing as waterproof on the IPhone unless it’s kept in the bag and you only take it out to talk or the other one is impossible to get a charger in it.  But I’ve bought um
