So I have the 5g gateway. I was told I would get a 50Mb-150Mbps possibly more for connection. I'm steadily getting 30Mbps. The only thing I use on it is my PS5. I have not once attained a 5 bar connection. Really would like to know what I'm doing wrong. I also have a Netgear mesh extender I've tried to use to boost the signal that's there but I'm not so sure it helps lol. This just bugs me.. what do I do..
Use the app to see the best location for your device, as well as the service signal that you’re getting.
Position with these indoors makes a huge difference.
One side of my house … 15-250Mbps (typically 15-75Mbps) - weak 5G, medium 4G LTE
Other side .. 75-250Mbps (typically 75-150Mbps), typically no 5G, very good 4G LTE.
Then .. there’s capacity. If your area is typically on 4G LTE, capacity will be lower, and as a result, probably deprioritized.
