I bought an “unlocked” v50 thinQ in 2020 and want to use it on mint mobile.  When I go in to APN settings they are grayed out, presume this means that the phone is locked for some reason.  99% sure it was unlocked previously as I used it on Mint for a while until I got my oneplus 8.  How can I re-unlock it?

Some carrier specific devices come with an APN they don't allow you to edit.  If you can put another carrier's SIM in the device and it connects to the network.  The device is not SIM locked.  Create a new APN for Mint and then set that APN as the default.

Unfortunately there is no way to add APN, and it appears that it does not take the mint sim as I cannot dial a phone or create/edit APN.

If it is SIM locked.  Are you a T-Mobile USA customer?  I'd the device SIM locked to T-Mobile?  Does your T-Mobile account and device meet all of the SIM Unlock Policy requirements?
