I am in a country where I have GB of high-speed data. However, my hotel room does not have wireless internet so I want to tether my phone to my laptop. The T-Mobile web page on international data says I can use my 5 GB for data on my phone but I cannot share with other devices by tethering through a smartphone mobile hotspot. I want to tether my phone to my laptop through a USB cable. Is that the same as a mobile hotspot or can I do that without any extra charges?
