Left Verizon after 21 years to get better 5g coverage. Lol. What a joke. What I got is 5g symbol and speeds that are worse than lte. Verizon 4g was much much faster than this 5g. Verizon isn’t nearly as good as they used to be. At that: whole of a lot better than this. Mind you: this isn’t cheaper. I hate being lied to. Hate cheaters. To me. T mobile seems like a cheating lying company. Heading back to Verizon this weekend with much humility.
Sadly, T-Mobile has hyped their ‘5G coverage’ as the best thing since sliced bread.
- Having coverage vs. 5G unusable does not help
- Having no coverage (more often) does not help either
- Weak 5G is often much worse than decent LTE (on any carrier)
Recommend a ‘try before you buy’ approach when switching from what you have/know to what they’re selling, as its a hassle returning (T-Mobile offers trials for free with eSIM).
