TMobile and latest Blackberry devices

Hello.  Got a text from TMobile saying that Blackberry is retiring legacy service on Jan 4 2022 and after that BB devices will lose services.   

I am carrying a super old BB device right now -- my question/concern is if that message means TMo is not going to support any BB Devices, including the current BB Key2 (which is only a couple years old) or does it mean it won’t support my ancient BB device that is 12+ years old?????

im thinking they are saying any device that does not have VoLTE capabilities will no longer work on their network since they are shutting down 3G

 

 

you might opt to jump over to BlackBerries forums to see if anything has been said in there about them.

I do not work for Tmobile and my suggestions and or opinions are my own**.~~~~ The site here is primarily peer to peer with some TMO moderation to keep the site in order..They do not have account access..The prefered method would be to contact TMO through either calling in (tier 1 support) or by contacting them through either Facebook/Twitter (tier 2 support)**~~~~

Has anyone figured out if the KeyOne and Key 2 are going to work on the tmobile network or no? I am getting mixed answers. Thanks
