Here in the S.F. Bay Area I had a similar ping problem for about a week -- about 70-80% lost packets. Starting two days ago, I’ve had no problems. Tried half a dozen sites, all respond with 0% loss. Hopefully the issue gets resolved where you’re at...
On the Arcadyan unit a factory reset (paperclip in the reset port for 5 sec.) will do it. I imagine a similar procedure on the Nokia and Sagemcom would work as well.
IMO ping to an open internet host is not a reliable gauge of connectivity.I have been running tailscale to another host (also behind TMHI at another house) to determine if we are both connected. “tailscale ping <host>” runs every 5 minutes and has been working very reliably. You might consider that or a similar VPN solution to determine when you want to failover.
Might check out this thread: HP Printer Wireless Set up IssueIf your Canon printer is older then it might require different WiFi settings, detailed in above thread. Also, did you previously configured it with a fixed IP address? If so might want to factory reset it, so it can get a new IP address assigned by your T-Mobile gateway.Good luck!
Try entering your WiFi passphrase (printed on the back of the Sagemcom gateway unless you’ve changed it.)
