SyncUp device not reading engine health

I’m on my second SyncUp device.  Both read the gas and battery info, but give the following under engine health  “Unfortunately, this information isn’t available right now.”  I’ve talked with TMobile on several occasions.  They undated the IMEI in their system with new device.  Everything else works but engine health (which is my reason for wanting the device).  I even went to my mechanic to make sure he could read the diagnostics port.  Any suggestions?  It’s the 7000T1.
