T-Mobile internet just wasn’t working out for me. Too inconsistent and too often couldn’t stream TV. Multiple sessions with support could not provide a solution, so I cancelled the line. Now I’m trying to figure out where to send the gateway back so I don’t get charged. Can I drop it off at a T-Mobile store?
I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can as long as it's a store OWNED and OPERATED by T-Mobile, not a licensee. Check with customer service to make sure. You're right to be cautious.
I recently went the other way. I cancelled Xfinity in favor of T-Mobile, and now Xfinity is insisting that I have to return their equipment, even though I never had any. (I supplied my own cable modem and router.)
