Hello,

I have TMobiles “unlimited” home internet gateway.  Speeds are clearly being throttled, or at least we are experience slow/unusable speeds during the day time.  1-2MBps.

At night, were well over 75mbps.

Is it possible there is an issue with my specific service?   My understanding is that there was no throttling with their internet service, and am afraid I was bait and switched.

I’ve used 3rd party TMobile 4G internet SIM cards in the past and have not had this issue...so “network” coverage doesnt make sense as the fault.

T-Mobile Home Internet is given the lowest data priority.

During congestion, Home Internet customers may notice speeds lower than customers using other T-Mobile services due to data prioritization.

They may say that, though it is not the case. I am in a very rural area with no congestion (I have post, pre, mvno and tmobile home internet sims)

I am achieving about 18-30mbps on my home internet plan right now

My mvno and prepaid sim are achieving 225mbps

Post paid plan is less throttled but throttled from 25-100mbs.

All of this was testing with the same 5g modem and antennas. (Don’t ask how)

T-Mobile has been throttling since the Starlink talks.

Hey T-Mobile, STOP THROTTLING MY HOME INTERNET SIM! Our customer agreement doesn’t allow this!
