@Milton40 do other devices see your Wi-Fi network? If so, what make model of laptop do you have? About how many years old is it? If not, you might delete your SSID and add a new one. Make a separate 2.4Ghz and 5GHz network as some devices prefer to connect with 2.4 while newer devices like 5GHz.

Let us know how it works.

@Milton40 good to know, thanks. An 8 year old laptop may not have the drivers for a 5G network. First, check to see if you have any software updates to your Windows Toshiba laptop. Then use the T-Mobile Internet app and add (+) a new SSID (maybe call it “2.4Ghz” and when you scroll down to “Frequency Band” and use the drop-down to select 2.4Ghz. Finish the setup and then see if your laptop can see the  new 2.4Ghz SSID.

I hope this helps.

Try lowering the security on the 2.4GHz to WPA/WPA2.  I don’t think the T-Mobile gateways support WEP.
