Hey Community - I am temporarily going to the Netherlands and currently have a T-mobile plan, including monthly payment of my phone. There is a T-mobile in the Netherlands. Is it possible to transfer my plan over to the T-mobile branch in The Netherlands? I will be there for a period of 6 months, depending on the how our new era will look like. At one time, a SIM from an EU T-Mobile company would work in a SIM-locked T-Mo US phone but I don't know if that's still true or not. I suppose that you might be able to invoke the "Lifetime Coverage Guarantee" get your phone unlocked and continue to make payments. You would give up any monthly promo credits if you do this.
