cannot select device to activate the sim card on my account

I went to t-mobile.com/SIM to activate the sim card for a new line on my account. I logged into my account as instructed and both lines are shown, and asks “which line do you want to activate this SIM on?” However, the site will not allow me to select the phone line.

Did you ever get an answer to this? I’m having the same problem...

I had to call support and was told the phone was already activated, and that’s why I couldn’t select the phone line.

I just spent an hour trying to figure out this issue, and I found a solution!

Go to https://my.t-mobile.com/account/account-overview

Click that number you want to activate and click “change sim”

Then follow instruction and you are done.
