Yes but check to see because it varies on plans and you may need to change the APN settings for data.
Yes most plans do but check to make sure your plan does. And have roaming on It’s worked very well for me in the cancun/riviera Maya area. It doesn’t seem to work at the airport in Cancun though. So don’t count on until you are on the road and fully out of the airport area. I had full bars couldn’t connect. I’m actually flying home from there right now. The woman who is sitting next to me also has T-Mobile and couldn’t get it to work in the airport either Which is a nightmare when you need it to organize transport to leave and get on the airlines app in the airport for updates plus there’s nothing to do and a lot of time to do nothing
