I need to turn off one of the phones on my account temporarily. How do i do that

You can call Customer Care and ask them to suspend it.

As the Primary Account Holder, you can Suspend or restore your line

Suspend or restore your line

You can suspend your monthly T-Mobile service for one of the following reasons:

Your device was lost or stolen.

You won't be using your phone for a period of time.

You're about to enter active military service.

Please Use the Following steps Below.

Go to My T-Mobile and

1.log in to your account.

2. Click Manage > Phones & Devices > Lost or Stolen Device.

3. Click Continue and follow on-screen steps.

If you signed up for FamilyMode app you can turn the phone off from there but there's a monthly charge.

If I suspend a line, does that deactivate Instagram, snapchat etc.

Not if they have access to WiFi.

If I suspend a line, does that phone get a notification about the suspension or is the service just cut off?
