My credit card insures my phone except if it disappears without being stolen. What about Assurant? And where is the plan in writing and in detail?

Usually insurance through T-Mobile for new phones. Personally I would sick with the insurance through your credit card.
My insurance for my phones is free through my CC and that's the only way I'd have insurance for a phone.
