I recently changed carriers from ATT to t Mobile.  My phones work fine  My iPad (only wifi) will not receive texts on phone number.  it receives on email address but not number some times.  Tried rebooting, new apple id and other suggestions but nothing works.

i have t mobile but this morning i hit sms and now they wont go thru and i cant receive them

I'm confused by your original post... If your tablet is a Wi-Fi only device, does not have T-Mobile SIM card and service it will only work with your Apple ID. You would not receive SMS text messages

Clarify?  

Do you have a T-Mobile SIM card and service on the iPad?  Is the iPad and your iPhone set up for call and text on other devices and Wi-Fi calling?
