Has anyone else had issues with the OnePlus 8 5G direct connection to TV after the Android 12 update? When I connect and try to play games on TV now it's just a black screen no sound no picture no signal. My cable is fine and it used to work prior to update. HELP!

Android 12 has sadly been a plague for just about every Android device it has hit. I would suggest rolling back via the MSM Toon to Android 11, enabling Developer Options, and turning off Automatic System Updates to make sure you remain on Android 11.
13 will more than likely be the only saving grace here.
