I am connected via Blue Tooth to my Mini Cooper and it will allow me to take calls or make calls via my car.  However, when I use Google Maps, the sound doesn’t come through the car speakers, only my phone.  Any suggestions?

Have you tried checking the Google maps settings to make sure voice is enabled?

yeah double check to make sure it allows voice and not just media

My Dodge Uconnect does the same thing. Gmaps turn by turn voice directions will not air over the radio mode. But it does come through on "media"...when Spotify, usb, Bluetooth etc are selected. Try using different inputs. If I want radio and Gmaps voice directions, I have to turn off BT on my phone and turn up the media volume to use the the phone's speakers. But then you'll also lose hands free calling. It's got something to do with Gmaps being a mobile app and hands free being part of pre installed phone app?? I think?? The only thing I'm positive of, is that it's super annoying and I still miss turns and verbally abuse Ms G!
