Galaxy A52 5G Power Management

I gave a Galaxy A52 5G phone and it drains the battery in 12-15 hours. Part of of the problem is the Google assistant. Can you tell me how to delete the App or at the very least turn it off so it stays off. I have followed the instructions and turned off the assistant and notifications but it still prompts to turn it on and pops up random adds and screens. I am a very simple cell phone user, email, talk and text. I don’t want it to try to help me run my life. I would like to shut off all the Apps then select and use them when I need to. Any suggestions beside go and buy an IPhone?
