My families galaxy phones; all 4 of us cannot be heard on a call unless on wifi network. This started last night. We have re-started the phones.
once you leave the area by say 5+ miles in any direction does your signal improve or do calls stay bad?
and are all 4 devices in the same area or are they a mix and match in different towns/states?
Last night all 4 phones were at the same house/location. But today 3 of the phones have been 5 miles away and still having the same issue. People can call and not hear us responding (unless we are on wifi) but we can text
interesting...so its pointing more towards an account issue possibly. 5+ miles in any direction usually kicks you to the next out tower (unless the main tower covering your home is in the same direction theyre in now..then you all might still be on the same tower.. if you travel out further and the problem goes away then its tower related..but would also affect anyone else with a TMO phone connecting to that tower..
turn your mobile data off then turn around and call one of the other 3 phones..wondering if its somehow VoLTE related or not..VoLTE is a data call..supposed to help crisp up the calls etc..so wondering if turning it off will make it worse or better. should be an option to turn this off if you slide down your notifications area and you have the quick options from the top of your screen..should be a phone handle with waves
