I upgraded to a Motorola Edge 2022 through T-Mobile about 7 months ago.  It’s now on Android 13.  For the past week or two, at least once or twice a day, I get a notification that “SIM card not found” and the status shows no mobile data.  I can’t make or receive calls when that happens.  The only way I can get it to resolve is to physically remove the SIM card and put it back.  Power cycling doesn’t work.  The phone and SIM are not damaged.  Reddit users have also reported this and believe that it is a Motorola software problem, which seems likely.  What is my best recourse for resolving this bug?  Thank you.

Try going to the Moto board and see if they have any ideas.

Thanks.  Something similar is going on at https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/motorola-edge-2022/SIM-Card-and-Network-Connectivity-Issues-after-A13-update/m-p/5290009?page=1.  However, I took my phone to the local store and they replaced the SIM.  Knock on wood, the problem hasn’t returned in 24 hours.
