I just moved to TMobile and I thought I ported my old cell phone but I need a new one and looks like I have a personal line with the old number with ATT and a business line with TMobile. I thought the ATT account would get cancelled when I moved over.

Moving from other carriers can be a lot to juggle in the moment. When you port a phone number over to T-Mobile, you get a new temporary number and the old number from your original carrier should come in and replace that one. When the old number is pulled from the other carrier, it should automatically cancel on their end. This should be done in a few minutes, but can take 2-24 hours. 

Since you are still seeing your personal phone number on ATT, you should reach out to our customer support team to review your port request.
