My brother bought a phone from a friend and gave it to me, but it is sim lock and I don't have any info on the friends T-Mobile account, so how would I go about to have this phone unlocked? I’m with metro fyi

your brother would need to contact said friend and have him put in a request to get it unlocked..only way it’ll happen. if said friend wont do this then you are the happy owner of a cool paper weight that can only be used via wifi lol.
