Turning in old phone

I mailed in old iphone 8 to Lewisville, TX and will arrive Saturday.  I forgot to delete everything.  Do I need to worry?  Will they restart it there

you might be able to remotely wipe it but im almost positive it must be turned on. might contact Apple to ask if this can be done. if you contact TMO i would contact them through either Facebook or Twitter since this will land you with tier 2 support instead of the call in tier 1 support agents.
