Home Internet - No Signal

About to ditch T Mobile home internet.  We have had it since 2022.  We are on our second Gateway now, thinking the first one went bad weeks ago. We have never had issues with our home internet, but now all it seems to say is "no signal". This has been going on for about a month. Reset helped for about 30 minutes then back to no signal. T Mobile has said, "oh your nearest tower is 30 miles". I have a T mobile Hotspot that works just fine and maintains signal all day.  What in the world is going on with home internet!? Is anyone else fed up and about to ditch it?

30 miles …. I’m doubtful on that.  T-Mobile most likely wouldn’t allow you to obtain service if the nearest tower was … 30 miles away.  If your hotspot works, so should your home gateway, especially if it worked before.

I haven’t had many issues, but that may also be due to the fact that the closest tower is ~1200’ away.
